Summer means a lot of different things to different people, but to me, it’s backyard barbecues and lazy days on the hot summer sand. This coming weekend, my Saturday combines them both into one fabulous party that is bound to be the best of the summer.
By day, I will be attending an all-day and night birthday shindig on the Jersey Shore at a house right on the ocean. Lucky me!
To start, all necessary pool/beach-wear attire is in serious order from South Moon Under. I’ll top my must-have white bikini with a layer of chic silk in a BCBG cover up. The green tint is lush, and the leafy pattern is right on trend. A pair of Havaianas, aviators, and a ribbon laced hat will have me lounging by the pool and frolicking on the beach in serious style.
Once the sun sets, all I’ll need is a quick change before we head into the backyard for a barbecue where I will be donning in a cool romper
that I just purchased. If you don’t know, rompers are a huge trend this summer season, and I cannot wait to wear mine in a no-frills, casual kind of way.
Because we’ll be on grass, I will definitely be foregoing heels in favor of these au natural leather gladiators. They are a perfect shade of nude that will seamlessly blend in, and without a doubt, let me shine.
