Gaithersburg, MD-  Today, South Moon Under is proud to announce the grand opening of their thirteenth store location at the Washingtonian Center of Gaithersburg, Maryland.  Adding to the company’s collection of stores in the greater DC area, the fashion forward boutique is thrilled to offer the latest trends by Free People, Splendid, Ella Moss, RVCA, Obey, Penguin and many more.


Located between Barnes & Noble and Cahra Salon & Spa at 15 Grand Corner Avenue, the new venue is approximately 4500 sq ft.   Managed by Blair Foster, former Manager of South Moon Under’s Annapolis location, the entire store is excited to showcase the new space.


With humble beginnings as a small surf shack over forty years ago, this event marks another milestone in South Moon Under’s continued development and growth as a retail company, now consisting of about 300 employees.


Still privately owned, South Moon Under offers a variety of sophisticated and stylish clothing for both women and men while staying to true its laid-back roots.
