You've probably all been told to never wear black and brown together... but that is an old myth that needs to be put to rest!

The Insider also classifies the fashion rule: "Don't wear Black with Brown or Navy" one to break as well. The Insider says that "If you think reasonably you will understand that black, brown, and navy are all neutrals. This means that you can wear them with pretty much anything, including each other!"
College Fashion, a blog dedicated to fashion and written by college students for college students, described it as a "dated fashion rule!" Not to mention, check out these celebrities to the right dressed in black and brown - and look how great they look!!
Fashionologie, another fashion blog, has a post that discusses pairing black and brown together, and the author says that "I'm here this evening to convince you that brown and black can go together, very well in fact, if done correctly." Carrie Bradshaw (yes, the character from Sex and the City - right) and Kate Moss (left) are just two style icons that have mastered the art of mixing black and brown together.
