According to Style.com's Trend Report Hyper Color, Lace Embrace, Midi is the Message, Prints Revolution, Seeing the Light, The Yves Standard, and We Wear the Pants are the hot spring trends to look out for! Here at South Moon Under we decided to put together some of the eye catching outfits seen on the runways, and some items from our store, so you can replicate these spring trends!!

At Spring 2011 Fashion Week multiple designers were all about colors. These colors were bright, bold, and eye-catching. Aquilano.Rimondi (left) and Christian Dior (right) were two of the many designers showing off these looks. One of the best things about using "Hyper Colors"? These pieces go perfect with black!


When it comes to "Lace Embrace", lace can be channeled into any style and can be used sparingly or excessively. This season designers like Anna Sui (left) and Isabel Marant (right) are using lace for all types of clothing, from shirts, to dresses, and everything in between.
Recently above the length skirts and dresses have been popular. However, this season "Midi is the Message." The return of longer skirts, with a three-quarter length hemline, is back in style. Chloe (left) and Tory Burch (right) created beautiful, long skirts for this spring's runway.

Crazy, quirky patterns were all over this seasons runway. Chris Benz (left) and Jean Paul Gaultier (right) were two of the many designers falling in line with the "Prints Revolution." Prints ranged from animal prints, floral prints, paintings, and many other crazy designs.




The seventies ruled this seasons runways with pieces such as peasant blouses, safari jackets, vibrant colors, and other elements, all lived up to "The Yves Standard." Take a look at Gucci (left) and of course the inspiration for these looks, Yves Saint Laurent (right).

For everyone that prefers tailored trousers "We Wear the Pants" is the trend dedicated to you. Elie Tahari (left) and 3.1 Phillip Lim (right), as well as other designers, created trousers that ranged from a high waste and relaxed leg to a more boyish style, as well as many others.
