The denim on denim trend has been big for awhile now and doesn't look like it's going anywhere! The double denim look can be a bit tricky to pull off, but with a little guidance you'll be sure to achieve this totally laid-back cool look!!
The most popular denim on denim look can be found in the picture above (which is also my absolute faveeee way to wear the look btw!!). Most ensembles include a denim chambray shirt paired with a short of the opposite color. (For another example, see our most recent Celeb Style blog featuring Vanessa Hudgens in denim on denim!) This is key to making the trend work: you must and I mean MUST never match the denim! If the colors are too close, you will end up with a jean tuxedo which is look that should ALWAYS be avoided! Take Britney and Justin for example; even though I love Brit dearly this is clearly a denim DON'T:
