This is one trend you DO NOT want to miss! I have been seeing a few bed jackets come in for early fall here and there and have totally fallen in LOVE with this look! And you can tell I am not the only one...I spotted 2 of our Women's Buyers rocking this trend today...and they did it just right of course!
So why in the world are we calling these little cardigan like tops a bed jacket!? Bed jackets became popular in the glamorous Hollywood films of the 1930s! You would usually see a Hollywood bomb shell lounging in her very luxurious and glam bedroom smoking a cigarette and drinking a vodka martini. Bed jackets were made to wear over night gowns and lingerie. They were not made for the modest or to cover up anything! They ooozed sexy and were made in sheer, lace and feathers--they were ULTRA feminine! Bed jackets were typically made short and cropped so they can easily be worn in bed while reading AND they were made loose so you could easily take it off when you were ready to sleep!

Now a days we are seeing a revival of this look but with a modern twist! Now you can find them in different lengths, prints, with embelishments and sparkle!
